Lo quisieron matar y al final lo vendieron como esclavo, lo separaron abruptamente de su padre, de su familia y de su tierra y le causaron un sufrimiento casi impensable, \u00bfpor unos sue\u00f1os y una t\u00fanica?! Ahora en su posici\u00f3n de poder, no tiene ninguna necesidad de perdonar, eso pensar\u00edamos, tiene todo lo que quiere; incluso el poder de orquestar su propia venganza.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando Yosef se revela a sus hermanos y ve su cara de consternaci\u00f3n, arrepentimiento y culpa, les dice: \u201cno fueron ustedes quienes me enviaron aqu\u00ed, fue D\u2019os con el prop\u00f3sito de que pudiera salvarlos de la hambruna\u201d. As\u00ed se pone de manifiesto la grandeza de Yosef y su herencia espiritual que nos ha legado a todas las generaciones.<\/p>\n<p>La clave para el perd\u00f3n, para dejar el rencor, a\u00fan si la falta fue tan grave como la que Yosef mismo recibi\u00f3, es entender que todo, absolutamente todo, responde a un prop\u00f3sito y un plan divino mucho m\u00e1s grande de lo que nosotros podemos ver y entender. Algunas veces lo entenderemos mucho tiempo despu\u00e9s, otras veces tal vez nunca; pero vivir con la consciencia de Yosef nos permitir\u00e1 ser personas libres y felices a\u00fan si estamos en la c\u00e1rcel.<\/p>\n<p>Yosef aprendi\u00f3 a ser feliz y agradecido en medio de la m\u00e1s grande de las carencias, eso lo hizo merecer alcanzar poder y riquezas en abundancia, sin cambiar su esencia. Dr. Yaakov Rodr\u00edguez<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>The key to success<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this week&#8217;s Parashah, we witness the reconciliation between Joseph and his brothers, and consequently, the reunion with his father Israel, and the settlement of his entire family in the land of Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>It may be difficult for some to understand how Joseph forgave his brothers. They wanted to kill him and ultimately sold him as a slave, abruptly separating him from his father, his family, and his land, causing him unimaginable suffering\u2014over dreams and a coat?! Now, in his position of power, one might think he has no need to forgive. He has everything he wants; even the power to orchestrate his own revenge.<\/p>\n<p>When Joseph reveals himself to his brothers and sees their faces filled with distress, regret, and guilt, he tells them: \u201cIt was not you who sent me here, but God, to save you from the famine.\u201d This demonstrates the greatness of Joseph and the spiritual legacy he has bequeathed to all generations.<\/p>\n<p>The key to forgiveness, to letting go of resentment, even when the wrong was as grave as the one Joseph himself received, is understanding that everything, absolutely everything, serves a purpose and a divine plan much greater than we can see and comprehend. Sometimes we will understand it long after, other times perhaps never; but living with the awareness of Joseph will allow us to be free and happy even if we are in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph learned to be happy and grateful amidst the greatest of deficiencies, which earned him power and wealth in abundance without changing his essence.
